Below is the except from "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens:
He had no further intercourse with Spirits, but lived upon the Total Abstinence Principle, ever afterwards; and it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God Bless Us, Every One!

And I wonder what is the meaning of the bold part of the context.
(Edited: except should be excerpt, a serious typo)

It is just a wish for all of us (the writer and all his readers) to be able to celebrate Christmas as joyfully and appropriately as Scrooge did (after his meetings with the 3 spirits, of course!)

Well, that explanation makes plenty of sense! And you seem to have knowledge about this novel, hehe.
