"I enjoyed of this story a lot."
Is this sentence grammatically correct?
Can I not say this as below:
"I enjoyed this story a lot."
Please comment.

IMHO:

(1) The correct sentence is "I enjoyed/ liked this story a lot."

(2) Also, please remember that if you wish to use a verb after "enjoy," you need to use the gerund: I enjoy readING newspapers.

(a) But "like" allows you to say: I like to read/ reading newspapers. Yes, English is, indeed, an "interesting" language, isn't it!
