Nowadays, doing business is really stressful and competitive. As a result, many people have a tendency to do anything that are IS beneficial for them. However, I disagree with this. Instead, I think we should take other factors seriously INTO CONSIDERATION when deciding to do business in order to avoid problematic situations and to protect the environment as well.
To begin with, although some things ACTIVITIES are profitable, they may adversely affect the environment and THE people. They may even break the balance of ecology NATURE. For example, if a company makes a decision to erect its new factory near the A residential areas regardless of the toxic vapors emitted into the environment, people’s health will decrease DETERIORATE seriously. Although these locations are ideal to FOR further developING, this company will be strongly criticized and MIGHT even BE sued because of its negative action. Another example is that OF a company WHICH decideS to make profit from utilizing the abundant forest REsource. Despite the fact that its logging will satisfy the demand of THE construction INDUSTRY, the habitats of many HABITAT features will be destroyed. What is more, soil erosion will be more likely to occur. Therefore, a company, when deciding to do its business, should consider whether it is harmful to people'S surroundings and other features. By doing this, it will reduce the ITS risk of being sued and will have a greater chance to succeed.
Furthermore, life is unpredictable. If businessES are determined in TO makingE profit regardless of the risk they may confront, they will BE ruinED instead of gaining profit. That is to say, they should take the probable consequences into account.
All in all, I believe that it is a fallacy for A business to do anything to make a profit because there are some things seemingLY advantageous for them, yet harmful to people'S surroundings and the environment IN GENERAL. What is more, the ambition of earning money may decrease the consciousness to consider ABILITY TO ANTICIPATE the probable outcome that may ruin the business. Being careful and conscious (as in responsible, right?) will result in success, includING profit.
