TOEFL-Watching television broadcast or attending a live performance?

As life has been very stressful, people need some entertaining activities to live up their spirits and relax their minds. One of these activities is watching a performance, such as musical shows or sport tournaments. While many people think attending a live performance is a pleasure activity, I believe that watching a performance through television broadcast is more advantageous and enjoyable. My reasons and examples listed below will strengthen my point of view.

First of all, television offers a wide variety of programs such as news, drama, and sport tournament. By having these programs, when a person is bored or annoyed with a program, he can easily change the channel to another channel. For example, when I was watching a football tournament, my favorite team had performed very badly. As I was annoyed with that situation, I changed the channel to a news program.

Second, going to a live performance requires a great amount of money. People have to pay for the tickets and also for the transportation that carries them to the venue. It is a waste of money because they can comfortably watch the show from home with a television.

Third, it not only cost one's money, but also his time. When people attend a performance outside of their homes, they have to go to out and spent their time on the way going there. Instead of wasting their time to go there, they can use their time wisely by doing other activities, such as reading or studying.

In conclusion, watching television broadcast at home will save not only our money but also our time. It is also more enjoyable because we can watch various programs on television.
