Recently , a controversial of whether to increase the teachers’ salaries is the best way to improve the quality of the education. It causes wide public concern. Some people insist that there are other methods which is more efficient than to increase the teachers’ salaries to improve the quality of the education. Meanwhile . others who are opposed to it consider that salaries is the most important element to increase the teachers’ enthusiasm. As everyone knows, so different are the personal experience and emotional concerns that thousand people hold thousand opinions. After pondering different aspects of the issue, I agree with the idea that to increase the teachers’ salaries is not the best way to improve the quality of the education.
Now I will provide some details to support my opinion. The most striking reason I want to put forward is teaching is looked on as the a noble profession, many teachers chose the teaching as their career just because they think teaching can spread knowledge. knowledge can change one’s destiny. In term of this aspect, teacher can guide people to the way to success . to make my demonstration more profoundly and comprehensively , I would like to cite my uncle jack for example. He is a college teacher. he loves being a teacher . he told me that when he teaches students who are eager to the knowledge , he feel happy and satisfied . as long as a student achieve success, he will be proud of him and feel gratified. Though he doesn’t get very high salaries , he still has a great passion to teach his students.
Another important reason is that there are many other ways to improve the quality of the education. The school can introduce some new equipments that can make student learn knowledge more convenient. And school also can provide some awards to teachers who have better achievement.
Though to increase teachers’ salaries is not the best way to improve the quality of the education, it still has some advantages. Many people think the more money you earn , the better life you live . there is no denying that money is the cornerstone of the life .We spent money in many aspects such as food , clothing , house and travelling. But what these people fail to see is that money is not everything, it cannot achieve your self-value.
