In the UK, more commonly known as an aubergine.

Am I missing something, Tort. What's the meaning of your surreal 'cereal' sig?

Hi Bev,
"I'm really cereal" is in reference to Al Gore.
The expression "I'm super cereal" is attributed to him. It's a variation on "I'm serious" =)))

Also, "to shotgun rain" means to dominate opponents with a shotgun in a computer game (gamer slang). It was coined by "SSoHPKC", a renowned youtube gamer, whose videos I watch on a regular basis (he's got upwards of 6000 videos and coming).

I'm not a avid fan of computer games, but Seamus (aka SSoHPKC) does nice walk-throughs of popular games and he's got me hooked. I don't play games, I just watch him play and comment every step of the way. He's very entertaining, and profligate with slang expressions and I picked up a few expressions from him, including this "shotgun rain". He also likes to say the f-word when something goes awry, but I digress.

Hehe =)
