Get vs. Got #2 (permalink) Wed May 03, 2006 4:08 am   Get vs. Got

Hello,
You're right that the wrong word in the sentence is "get" but the question also asks you to input the right answer.
The right answer is "got" because the sentence is in the past tense. "Last week" means in the past so the verb must also be in the past tense - of "get" which is "got."
I hope that helps.
