1. I have been abroad for 10 years.
2. I have been in abroad for 10 years.
Are both correct?
I know: "I went abroad" is correct
while "I went to abroad" is incorrect.
Please comment.

#1 is OK; #2 is ungrammatical.

"in abroad", like "to abroad", is always wrong.

Can I not say: " I have been abroad 10 years."

Yes you can, (though it would be a better construction if you added 'for') but that is not the phrase you asked about in your original message.
