Hi

Could you please look at the following sentences and tell me how they sound to native ears?

The teacher instructed the students to use cursive handwriting.
The teacher instructed the students to write in cursive handwriting.
The teacher instructed the students to print.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: Any other suggestion is welcome.

They all sound okay, though personally I'd choose to use the first over the second so that I could avoid the use of write/handwriting.
