These are exercise instructions given by an aerobics instructor:

2,3,4, front. Now we're going to run it off. Front... knees up, knees up. Ok. Finish off by jogging in place. OK. Keep those knees up. All right. That's it for today.

My question is:

What does the word off mean in the two places?

Thanks.

Run it off = run until the effects of the tension/cramps/other exercise wear off. 'Off' means 'into nonexistence or nothingness: My headache passed off soon.'

Finish off = completely finish. 'Off' is a kind of emphasizer here.
