Quote:
...my personal preference is wintertime where ever there is snow to be found.
As a child I loved to go sledding, build snowmen and igloos, and have snowball fights with friends.
...the landscape covered in all that white fluffy powder...
Even as the snow would begin to melt and turn to slush, I still found it fun. We would try ice skating in our shoes on the icy patches of half melted and then refrozen snow. We would also make balls of ice from the slush and try to stuff it down the backs of each others shirts; which provided a jolt to the system as the icy sludge began to melt inside your otherwise warm cocoon.

It also brings back fond memories of playing outside until[b] I was half frozen
.

Dear Megan,

Many thanks for these expressions and for bringing back fond memories of my childhood.
Do you believe or not but once time I used to be a kid, me also. These winter playing were characteristic of my life also. I can never forget when we came home with soaking shoes and trousers. My grandmother used to pull them off and she put hot water in a big basin and we had to bathe our feet in it for about a half an hour. And she gave us a mug of hot tea. Besides, my sister's feet had been frozen because our shoes were not good to remain for a longtime in the snow.

Many thanks.

Take care:
Kati

Hello Yuri,

It was good to speak to you. I've made lot of mistakes. Excuse me. Since I looked up one that I said wrongly: Cyrillic alphabet:is used to write Russian,Bulgarian and some other European languages.(Oxford English Dictionary)

But it is good that I will know a new English word.

Yes this photo is beautiful but I am sorry that I couldn't turn it.

Take care:
Kati
