Hello Jessi (and friends),

Great to hear from you again, I miss our skype chats.

I have been writing with Kati; she is a very admirable person, very wise and she has studied a lot.

I always remember the expression that I heard in a movie: "life's a bitch and then you die"

It is a strong expression, but mostly true. It states that fairness hardly exists.

What do yo think about the following expression?

"Other people do not make you feel bad; you are the one making the choice how to react to them."

I think a lot about this expression myself when I get upset/angry/furious with other people.

I am reading an interesting book at the moment, in Spanish. I will check if there's an English version of it to give you the title.

Take care,

Ozzy

Dear Jess, You are very sweet that you are sorry because of the things that happened to me. I try to forget. Not everybody is like than you that we could very well to talk about the „chore”. This morning I read our coacher Megan's letter. Here is some lines from this:
" I've spent 12 hours today working, mostly baking but also some cleaning. I'm very tired now! hehe Soon I can go to bed and get up again at 5am!"-she wrote
She prepared on Thanksgiving day. What is this if not chore. If you make sth in the kitchen the cleaning demands same time than the preparations. This is a fact. Everybody knows it who began to make something .
Imagine what Megan would say if my answer would be:
/"You can do it night and day, can't you?" Excuse me, I don't understand what you said. Would you please say that another way?”/ She didn’t understand my sentence about the chore. And int he next letter she wrote: „My mother used be a working woman but she did organized everything perfectly and I'm very proud of my moth„ This means that I would say now to Megan why you didn't organise better your work. It would be absurd to tell this kind of thing.

xxxxxxx

Due to our debate everybody left the Speaking English for 20 seconds a day?
What was begun by Torsten on 02 November 2009.
All is vain. He wrote at the end of the thread
Watch this topic for replies
– he wastes his breath.
I would write an excusing letter to Torsten: That what happened it is quite different from what I expected.

xxxxxxxx

I have to forget it.

Many thanks for your understanding.
Kati

Hello Ozzy ,

I miss our conversation too . You are the best thing that ever happend to me . You always encourage me and I'm very happy every time chat with you or get message from you . You are quite right , this sentence tell us the truth "Other people do not make you feel bad; you are the one making the choice how to react to them." I always thinking the things on my to do list ,I'm always hurry to do something and angry with somebody who are too lazy to do urgent things just send a e-mail without a phone . But right now I wonder why I'm too hurry to enjoy my life or spend some time to chat with my good friends . Those guys who are lazy but good at saying flattered words to his boss , they get the same sallary as I ,why I make myself upset , I'm too stupid , I need to enjoy my life , chat with my good friends and also work at the work time .Why I have to overtime and angry with others ? You remind me , I need to take a change .....

What book are you reading ? Do you find the English version ?

Take care ,

Jess

You are very busy , it's a good thing for you . You spent a lot of time to learn English every day , I'm verrrrrrry adimire you . I haven't learn English for many days . Ozzy's sentence take me back to the most important things to me . We need to work well , we need to earn more money , but we also need to enjoy our lives , why we make ourselves upset /sad .......,nothing is worth . Happy from now on and relax ourselves .

Have a nice day ,

Jess
