Which underlined word has mistake in this sentence?Why? Thanks for your helps.

Trucks have replaced camels as the main mean of supplying goods to remote north African Oasis.[/u]

Two words in this sentence have mistakes: one that you have marked and another that you haven't. In case it's homework, I suppose you should say first where you think the mistakes are?

I have analyzed the sentence repeatedly and also the worlds. And this is my answer I don't know english at all.:)

Thanks for your help Cristina. Probably learning process makes same feeling all of us. Anyway could you explain why we must add -s to the world "mean"? I think I couldn't catch something.

Not quite sure I can explain it well enough. Basically, the word 'means' is a noun in your sentence and it means 'method'/'way'.

Have a look at this (See point 1.): http://oald8.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/dictionary/means -- Any clearer?

Anyway, I think Dozy will give you/us his opinion as soon as he gets around to it. (Thanks, Dozy)

I agree with everything Cristina says. In addition, the capitalisation is dubious. I would write "North African oases".
