Are you afraid of making decisions? #32 (permalink) Thu May 25, 2006 10:29 am   Are you afraid of making decisions?

Hi Cris!

In some US Western movies a flock of Red Indians called "Cheyenne" had been discribed as they were especially martial and blood-shot. So I recommend you to pay attention to Spencer. He?ll attack whenever you don?t expect that. Wink Laughing

Are you afraid of making decisions? #34 (permalink) Fri May 26, 2006 10:58 am   Are you afraid of making decisions?

Hi relatives,
How are you?
Hey Cris, don't listen to Michael,he much more dangerous than me.
He fights just for the fun sometimes, right Michael? Smile
I'm really sorry, but I have to work a lot lately, (you know: buffalo-hunting, shooting cowboys and stuff) I just don't have enough time to check even my e-mails.
Anyway, Cris, thanks for noticing me about being mercyless instead of merciless, that's the kind of things I expect from a bloodsister.
'Cause I've read your messages, I'm starting to think it was a bit of foolish to accept your offer since you're a teacher, I wont have too much oppurtunities to get you on mistaking I guess.
I might have something though:
"I couldn't understand" sounds a bit awkward to me, I don't mean it's not right, but I'm sure I've never heard it.
I might be wrong, but it's worth a shot. Smile
I'm affraid I have to go now, I've had no time since this Joe Wayn guy showed up. Smile
Take care you guys
Remember: No scars on the back Smile

Hi Spencer #35 (permalink) Fri May 26, 2006 17:39 pm   Hi Spencer

Well ,Its nice to meet my bloodbrother again,
My other bloodbrother I mean Michael I dont think,he is dangerous,my conclusion is that he is shy, but, that he likes to fight.... yes I completely agree with you,
Hes a red Indian ,doesnt he?
and about ...I couldnt understand, its gramatically correct
for example...I couldnt understand how that man hit his own wife (I cant believe,)
but in that case, I should have used, I didnt understand
because I didnt understand the word cheyenne.

Thanks bloodbrother

Hi members of my flock of Red Indians Wink

You?ve recognized me the right way! Laughing I?m one of those students which Jamie (K) probably don?t like: a fighting student!
Considerring the danger to be wrong once again I agree to Cristina?s opinion that she is right when she says she could use: "I couldn?t understand....." because could is also the Infintive as it is the Past of can.
But there is anything else I liked to advice to Cristina:
couldn?t is the Negative short form of could not as you know. I discover this in every of your posts: You always write the Negative short form of the auxiliaries without using the apostrophe " ? ".

By the way, Spencer, what about your quoting?

Houw! Old Blabbermouth has spoken Laughing

Cris

On my keyboard, the apostrophe is between the zero and the upside down exclamation mark (?), in the top right-hand corner, one key away from the Enter/Return key. It looks like an 'l' (I wonder why). Of course, it could be somewhere else on your keyboard. Just look for a long vertical line (l).

You can also use the acute accent mark (?), but you need to press the spacebar afterwards. Anyway, why press two keys when you can just press one, with a better result -- the acute accent is too minuscule, I find.
