Franciszek M. has taken up residence in the deserted school, on the second side of the road. He has occupied the director's cabinet..He sleeps/is sleeping/have been sleeping on the folding sofa/couch brought by the son who lives in Ostrołęka. In order to warm up he turns/is turning/have been turning on an electrical heater.

Please correct the sentences above and correct them where necessary..

Thank you very much

"second side of the road" doesn't make any sense to me.
I don't know what you have in mind with "director's cabinet". Could you mean "office"?
"sleeps"/"is sleeping"/"has been sleeping" are all possible.
If you mean his son then you would normally say "his son". "the son" is not impossible, but has a particular stylistic feel.
"electric heater" is more usual than "electrical heater".
"turns on" and "is turning on" are possible in a present tense narrative (which has a distinctive stylistic feel).
"has been turning on" is possible, but again it has a specific stylistic feel. In plain English you would say something like "He has been using an electric heater to keep warm."

on the second side of the road - I meant, because buildings can stand on the first or on the other (second) side of the street/road, so what is wrong with it, how it should be?

Many thanks for the whole help
