What is an easiest way to memorize a difficult word? if we have to memorize 20 words a day for an english exam.

I follow this method

1. Find the synonym (easier to remember) for the difficult word.
2. Download audio pronunciation of the difficult word and save it to my mp3 player.
3. Then listen that audio file and try to answer (synonym) it.

It's like having viva with mp3 player.
