Hello Mentors,

Please help me to distinguish the difference between these three sentences.

1. I did not do my homework.

2. I was not able to do my homework.

3. I could not do my homework.

Thank you in advance my Mentors!
;)

1. It was not done. We have no indication of whether you chose not to do it or something stopped you doing it.
2. Something stopped you doing your homework.
3. Either something stopped you doing your homework or you found it too hard to complete.
