I want to have a chocolate too I want to have a chocolate as well -- are interchangeable.
'Wanna' is not correct.
I will go there too I will go there as well -- are interchangeable. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Hi Beeesneees, thanks for your quickly answer.

The one I used would depend on what was said previously. Both are fine.
There are almost always alternative ways of saying the same thing in English. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

All the examples I can think of off-hand would accept both phrases. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Since "as well" and "too" are interchangeable, use them when you need to get the same meaning across back to back. It would not sound right if you use the same word back to back.
Ex. This is a picture you can use too, or you can sell it too. - this does not sound right.
This is a picture you can use too, or you can sell it as well - this sounds much better. |

Use of both in close proximity sounds odd to me even if you use the aternative.
It would be much better to say: This is a picture you can either use or sell.
I don't see much purpose of the 'too' in the first phrase. What would be the primary use of the picture if not to 'use' (view)? _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Hi again,
as for me, I agree about using "too", because its sounds a bit strange for me. Maybe for native speaker it doesn't matter.
But I agree that the seconde phrase does sound much better. Therefore I was a bit confused about those words, because it really depends a lot how does it sounds, which actually means for a lot of other english words.
its really nice having such a forum, where people like me can speak about such stuff.
well done..)

It matters very much to this native speaker. If you use your second phrase, remove 'too'. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
