Hello Alan and Conchita,

A couple of days ago i heard on TV (I do hope correctly) that " she knows me to a comfort level." Would you kindly explain it?
Thanks in advance

Tom, I think you misheard the sentence. The person may have said, "She knows my comfort level." That means she knows at what level or to what degree someone is comfortable doing something. Without any more context, it's hard to explain it beyond that.

Hi! Is "comfort level" the same as "comfort zone"? I've heard some friends use the term "comfort zone" but I'm not sure if it mean the same as "comfort level".

Comfort Zone again #5 (permalink) Tue May 09, 2006 19:47 pm   Comfort Zone again

Hello Jamie

I am thankful to you for your prompt reply -- it was really helpful.

The context was: (perhaps)

If someone knows me so well that I become uncomfortable In their presence.

He knows me to an uncomfortable level. (How does this sound to you?)
