Hello Beeesneees, Thank you so much for your fast attention. :D I think that I wrote previous post very carelessly. Truly, I only perform The initial exercises of each skill. I need your help, I want to pass GRE exam in February and TOEFL (PBT ot iBT) in March. I want you to tell me what plan I should have to do my best. What materials should I reed and how can I use this site to improve my English knowledge? My English background comes as follow: a) I have a score of 550 in TOEFL PBT and 4/6 in TWE last year. b) My grammar is not bad but I want to improve it, I got 60/67(68) in section 2 of TOEFL exam. c) My reading comprehension in both GRE and TOEFL is bad. I don't know if I have to read all of a passage and then look at it's questions or first I should go to the questions. I usually have problems with time in this section. d) I have a big problem with the new kind of GRE (revised) in verbal section. what is your advice to me? e) I want to improve my writing skill in both GRE and TOEFL, what's your suggestion?
Thank you so much and again please correct my mistakes. Regards. Yousof |

Hi All, I wrote an essay, I want you to correct its mistakes. This for applying to a university. Here is the essay:
Throughout my life, I have learned that the ultimate happiness is obtained not only by hard work and intelligence, but also by unlimited bravery in pursuing my own dreams. It is my overwhelming desire for learning, invention, and teaching that lead me to continue my education towards a master in International Relations and then to a Ph.D. degree in this field. My overall goals include the deep recognition of global issues and modifying them to improve the world situations, the future studies and accurate predictions of forthcoming political developments in the world, the spread of democracy, freedom and human rights, and the sustainable development in all societies, however I have two specific interests that I want to work strongly on them. The first is Middle Eastern Policy Studies. In the Middle East, on the one hand we face with dictatorial and authoritarian regimes and on the other hand we are confronted by extremism and religious fundamentalism. Concepts like democracy and freedom of expression has been expanded by the media and non-governmental organizations in the countries of this region so the level of people’s desires has increased. We can perceive this situation in the Middle East’s recent political development and the popular uprising of the countries like Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Yemen and the others. For a better understanding of developments in the Middle East, politicians and analysts in developed countries should properly discern the culture, history and beliefs of this region's people in order to establish the reasonable interaction with people and governments of the Middle East. The second is International Political Economy especially in the energy sector. The world economy has witnessed several oil price shocks, the oil shock because of the 1973 Arab-Israeli war and the Arab oil embargo in that year, the oil shock in 1978 because of Iran's Islamic Revolution against Shah's dictatorial regime, and the latest one in July 2008, which the crude oil prices rose to nearly $140 per barrel and then declined to about $38 per barrel in a short time period. The exact cause of the latest oil shock is unknown but it is mentioned some reasons including financial speculation, value of the US Dollar and insufficient oil production especially the peaking of world conventional oil production. To overcome the economic crises, especially in the energy sector, requires to positive interaction between the producers and the consumers of energy. Each section of energy supply and demand has established organizations to maximize their benefits, for example, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on behalf of the producers and the International Energy Agency (IEA) for the consumers. Today, The ultimate goal of all of us should be to maximize the benefits of the global economy and this can only be done through coordination and constructive interaction between the producers and the consumers, which would secure the consumers fossil fuels needs and realize fair prices for the producers as well as suitable revenues for the investors which would encourage them to increase their investments. To achieve the above objectives, I have had some personal qualities and have been growing many different capabilities. The Persian language is my native language and I am familiar with the Arabic language in a very good level. I also have had many studies on Islamic beliefs and Sharia (Islamic law) especially about the two major denominations of Islam namely Sunni and Shiite. Because of my interested in History, I have a good knowledge about the history of early Islam and contemporary history of the Middle East. Furthermore I've been very active in the field of journalism throughout my life whether in school, while studying at university and now in my job, therefore my life has been stirred by writing articles and managerial and administrative tasks of magazines. I also have the experience of working as teaching assistant at Sharif University of Technology (best technological university in Iran) for five semesters. In addition, I have always been pioneer in educational and scientific aid to undergraduate students, for example, Mohammad Amin Adibi mentioned my assistance to him in his internship report. I also have a lot of experiences in projects, presentations, trainings, executives and leadership positions that you can find their complete descriptions in my curriculum vitae. For instance, I was a member of the Guild Council at Sharif University of Technology for two years which was elected by the students. I plan to continue my education to M.Sc. level in an internationally reputable and high-ranking research university. In order to find the appropriate graduate program which can fulfill my educational goals and best match my research interests, I have perused different sources, and I have found the Master of Science in public affairs – International Relations at the University of […]. I have full confidence that my diligence, dedication, and genuine interest in learning coupled with the exceptional guidance I can receive in the University of […] will allow me to contribute to my fields of interest. I want to continue my life as a faculty member of universities to do research about Public Policy and International Relations, to extend science and to instruct the interested students. I would greatly enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to do so at your institution.
