Hello everyone,

We had to change our 'location'. There are some problems with our entering the "Don't be shy" pages and we decided to open a new topic. Unfortunately, our school connection doesn't allow to download Youtube. So I beg you not to send any files here. Just written and voice messages, please.

I don't want to give up our efforts. So, understand me in a right way, please.

Best regards to everyone,
Yuri

Hello Alan,

Thank you for your response. I am so happy that you said that my English is good but I don’t think so. I have to work hard to achieve my goal.

You said that I must be happy to have such a big family. Yes, I AM happy – the more the merrier. Would you mind telling me something about your family when you were a teen?

Best regards,
Irina

Hello everyone,

My name is Ayusha and I am 13 years old. I live in the village of Charbyaty, which is situated in 12 kilometers from the school where I study at. I am fond of English language and I would like to talk to foreigners in English. I think that it is very important to communicate with people from different countries. It is very interesting to know something new about any country from its native resident.

I am looking forward to listening to your responses,
Ayusha

Hello Bharati, Mujibur and everyone,

I would like to tell you about my favorite village of Tunkinskaya valley. Arshan is situated at the foot of the Sayany mountains on the banks of the Kyngerga river. There are many sources of mineral water in Arshan and people from all over Russia come here to have a rest. The place is very picturesque and the air around it is pure and healthy.

The favorite attractions of Arshan’s neighborhood are Pick of Love, the cascade of waterfalls and two volcanoes which have not been active for thousands of years.

I studied at Arshan School for a year but now I am at Kyren School.

Best wishes,
Christina M,

Hello Yuri, Bair, Irina, Ayusha, Christina M,

Thanks a lot for your English learning endeavors!

Yuri, I think new topic page would also be well participated by concerned friends.

Bair – pleased to learn that you love your family very much. Your sporting attitude and friendliness are really to be lauded.

Irina – please keep it up your commitment to learn English language skills; you’re already in the line of speaking English fluently!

Ayusha – you’ve set very interesting goals through learning English; I’m sure you’d pursue these goals from now on regularly! Best of luck to you!

Christina M – many thanks for drawing a nice sketch of Tunkinskaya valley through your English expressions! I feel like taking a trip to Arshan’s neighborhood at least once in my life time.

Cheers,

Mujibur

Hi Mujibur and Bharati,

Thanks a lot for your supporting our next (and not last) try. Your presence hear is extremely important. We have just overcome some technical obstacles and we are ready to talk to you more often.

My time is a little bit limited but I dedicate any spare minute to involve my schoolchildren into the English speaking envirronment and the english-test.net is the best choice.

All we need here are your written messages and voice messages. When any other files from internet are downloaded our Internet connection at school faces problems and the page is closed for access.

We'll answer you on Monday. We are looking forward to talking to you.

Yuri

Hello Christina, Ayusha, Irina, Bair, Yuri.

I'm very glad to be here talking to you for the first time.
So, let me introduce myself: my name is Mauricio and I'm from Brazil. Here in my country I work as a mathmatics teacher. But, just like you, I like to learn English very much.
And the proof it's wonderful to learn English is the fact that I can comunicate with you whose language is so different from mine and who live in such a far away country.
If I had never learned English I would miss this wonderful opportunity to know such nice people as you are.
So If you happen to be curious about anything concerning my country and if I'm able to answer, please feel free to ask.
It's very nice to have talked to you for the first time and I hope we have plenty of other opportunities to talk again.
Hope to see you soon,
Mauricio.

That is wonderfull that you are here. I am happy that you have joined us, and I am sure that schoolchildren will be happy too.

Our school Internet connection is broken again, and the students are not able to response at once. I hope that our specialist will overcome the problem soon, and we'll be able to talk to you right from our school.

Hello everyone,

It's a pleasure to meet all of you! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Megan. I'm an American, but I've been living in the Netherlands for the last 8 years. I was born and raised in a small town, in the state of Oregon. Do you know where Oregon is in the USA? I do some freelance work on-line, so I have a lot of free time for my hobbies; which is a good thing because I have a lot of them. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing (stories, poetry, blog posts, letters and such), playing with my dog, traveling, genealogy, history, cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, playing games (board games, card games, video games, etc), watching movies, listening to music, singing, spending time with my friends, learning Chinese, and much more.

I think you are all doing an excellent job with your English! I am very proud of each and every one of you. Keep up the good work! I know your teacher Yuri will be there every step of the way to help you with anything you have trouble with. I'm looking forward to talking with all of you.

Take care!
Megan

Hi Mujibur, Bharati, Mauricio and Megan,

So nice to meet you all here on the Forum. I am a little bit in a hurry because it is my mother's birthday today. But at last our school Internet connection is in order so I have an opportunity to drop you several lines.

I know that there are 50 states in the USA but I do not know how many states are there in Brazil, India and Bangladesh. Would you mind telling me about that?

Megan, I know that your mother state Oregon is situated on the Pacific coast and its capital is Salem? Am I right? I think I will learn more about the United States with your help.

One more. Mujibur, Bharati, Mauricio, would you mind telling me something in your native language? Just a short phrase...

Take care,
Irina

Hello Mujibur and Bharati, nice to meet you Mauricio and Megan,

I am happy to talk with you all. I have already talked with Mujibur and Bharati on “Don’t Be Shy” thread.

Bharati, you asked me if I know what my name means. Yes, I know. The name Samboo means “a cute person who is able to learn quickly”.

Today is a wonderful day at our place. The sun is shining, there is no a single cloud in the sky. Though the temperature is about ten degrees below zero it is considered to be warm at our place for this time of the year. I like this kind of weather. We can play with my friends out-door games.

Looking forward to talking to you again,
Samboo
