question about taking only 2 sections

Can I take only the math and writing section?
I don't have a lot of time to learn new words for the verbal.

Did anyone else do the same in the past? Is it acceptable from the universities?

yea I took math only and got 800 in old score in verbal I wasn't very good but still was able to get 400. I didn't study for verbal at all. But it was tough. It is really hard to rise your score in verbal..
