Here are the two definitions of "concerned": http://www.thefreedictionary.com/concerned
Meaning #1 - the authorities concerned. Meaning #2 - the concerned authorities.
Entirely your call which one to choose (depends on what you mean). _________________ If it's not easy, don't do it!

As far as I can tell, you've got it right. Concerned parents/citizens = conscious, worried about the well-being of their kids/the country. Parties concerned = parties involved in something (that have to do with something). _________________ If it's not easy, don't do it!

The murdered(adj) man is Raman. The man murdered(adj) is Raman. (wrong) The fallen(adj) lion was taken to the zoo. The lion fallen(adj) was taken to the zoo.(weird) The repaired(adj) car was picked up by its owner.(OK) The car repaired(adj) was picked up by its owner. (weird) Mostly the adjectives are placed before nouns as shown above. But 'concerned'(adj) can be placed before and after noun with different meanings. Am I right? |
