Hi Verunchik,

You can learn something but not somebody. You can teach or instruct somedody.

Let us know if this makes sense.

Hi Verunchik!
The word "learning" is a student-centered process. The person here can learn by himself. But the word " teaching" is a teacher-centered process. The learner get knowledge by the teacher.
U r so near toe the right answer!
Thanks

Another difference between 'learn" and "teach"!
You can learn things unintetionally e.g. from life, by experience etc., but we say " I was taught this in the school"!

That's another example, Adam, but the definition is the same:

teaching - providing information, etc. to someone else. (The teacher is the provider.)
learning - gaining information, etc. from someone or something. (The learner is the receiver.)

Hi Adam,

Talking of teaching and learning, I would avoid these abbreviations:

I also assume you mean 'to'.
