Hello,

Could you please help that whether they are correct or not?

-Don't worry! I saw that movie 3 times before.

-The idiom existed many years before.

I know that they can be used with present perfect ,but I want to learn that if it is used with simple past.

many times before what?

many years before what?

If you are going to use 'before' you have to have something to relate it to.
