Hi T.J.,
Thank you very much for your corrections.
Today the group worked with Torsten Meuche, he is one generation younger than me so he definitely can be classified as 'young' ;-). His first name is Torsten too so this might have caused some confusion....
Regards, Torsten

OK, sorry, my mistake. I know you and I are both young at heart, and I at least look like a teenager, but I wanted to make sure your students knew the correct definition of young! I will try to get the kids to make a special Valentine's Day video tonight if that would be helpful. |

Yes T.J. we're all very young -- some of us are young at heart, others are young in the true sense of the word and most of us are both. As for the special Valentine's Day video, that would be fantastic. Many thanks in advance. Torsten

Hi Torsten,
today the atmosphere in the group was really good. We did some work on general grammar (sentence structure, simple present, question with and without a question word, do-question both positive and negative, the "s" used with simple present and pronouns). We had little exercises practising these items. Then we went on with some listening exercises from our website. They did a good job according to their level of English. The last exercises were also online repeating all the grammar items on different webistes. To my mind, we made good progress.
Have fun tomorrow. Cheers! |

Hello to all of you, I'm Scott, I've Worked with English team in the past to try and help people like yourselves, better their English. I have trained quite a few groups there over the last few years. Well you all look like you're enjoying yourselves!
I have a few questions for you: What are your goals concerning English? How important, do you think, it is to learn English? What are the best methods to learn English? Which is easier to learn; British or American English?
Anyway I wish you a lot of success, and don't forget, when sometimes it gets a bit tricky: Keep calm and have a cup of Tea!
Have fun Scott _________________ Leipzig Englisch Sprachschule- a little London in Leipzig

@Scott: Great to see you here, Scott and many thanks for your questions. The group have read them and will probably respond soon asking you some questions too. @Torsten: Please teach and review basic office equipment vocabulary, all aspects of the simple present and the simple past, question words, giving directions, the numbers, frequently used verbs, the alphabet and the time. Also, please help the group answer the questions Linda asked them in her video message. In addition, please discuss with the group any proposals they have regarding their upcoming excursions. Also, today they want on an excursion to and through downtown Eilenburg. Please have them create a report on that.
Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Torsten
