f the meaning of a sentence is negative then can we say it is negative sentence?
Example-------
He refused to eat anything.

(1) Great question and great answer.

(2) I also found another answer to share with you. Look at this similar sentence: I REFUSED to give them ANY money.

(a) "We use 'any' in a POSITIVE sentence when the REAL SENSE is NEGATIVE."

(3) So, as Mr. M. told us, your sentence is -- grammatically speaking -- a POSITIVE sentence; however, you are correct in feeling that

it has a NEGATIVE sense.
