Native speaker of German in search of a native speaker of English #1 (permalink) Wed Dec 21, 2011 15:33 pm   Native speaker of German in search of a native speaker of English

Hi,

my name is Torsten. I'm a native speaker of German living in Germany. Currently, I'm studying to become a teacher some day, but first of all I want to improve my English skills. I'm interested in cultural studies, reading, family, cooking and language (particularly ESL in kindergarten and elementary school). I want to find a native speaker to become less harmed while speaking English and to improve my skills as well as helping others to learn my language.

regards from Germany

Hi, Torsten (sounds curious)

thank you for this clue, I will look at it.

To the question of you, Xiaomuou:

Torsten is a common name in Germany. Originally, the name comes from the region of Sweden/Norway and Denmark. It is derived from the word of the Norse god 'Thor' combined with the word for stone. Furthermore, it a typical masculine name, so you can't mix it up with a female name.
