Hello,

If I say, ''In the absence of wolves, the elk and deer populations has gone up so that they have overpopulated the Yellow Stone National Park.'' does my sentence make a sense?

Thank you for your reply and wish Marry Christmas.

It should be "have gone up" and "Yellowstone", but for me the sentence feels a bit awkward. I wonder if it would be better as "...elk and deer numbers in Yellowstone National Park have increased to the point of overpopulation."
