Men should not isolate themselves in a bubble from the outside world.

The principal's words perfectly resonate with my conviction that individual thrives only when the collective thrives.

Are the underlined parts of these two sentences awkward? If so, how to improve?

The underlined parts are okay, but in the last sentence you don't actually need 'with' and you need 'the' before 'individual'.
