Hello,
Finally what's a choppy sentence?

Correct the mistake:-

- We should find a new source of energy. Natural sources of energy are decreasing. The solar energy is a promising source of energy. The solar energy is energy from the sun. (Choppy)

Like 'stringy' it seems to be an ad hoc term rather than a grammatical term. However, it is clear that it means the statement is chopped up into too many small sentences, which don't flow well.
Instead of four sentences, two could be used (one single sentence could be created, but that runs the risk of being over-long if care is not taken).
We should find a new source of energy as natural sources are decreasing. Solar energy, taken from the sun, is a promising alternative source.
