Are these sentences correct:

1-Our study on intoxication doesn't limit itself to alcohol as intoxicant but takes a few other substances into consideration as well.

2-We are not considering only Freud as psychologist but are taking into account a few other famous psychologists as well.

1. alcohol as an antoxicant
would be standard.

2. sounds awkward.
As well as considering Freud's psychology, we are taking into account a few other famous psychologists.
