Liberation

When we feel like a tree stripped of bark,
Here, in this wild and savage park,
We need to leave the gate ajar,
That can keep us from fleeing

Complete with roots and crown and lark
The hole, the soil, the fibrous bar,
Where, at the bottom, in the dark,
We admire from afar
The twinkling of a star,

Which gives us the essential spark
Of hope that we can make a mark
And show the world just what we are:
A sentient living being.

Cool that you like poem things. So do I! It helps me to break free from conventional sentence structure and, without any restraints, use words to express abstract thoughts and/or to paint a mental picture. It takes away the fear of grammar so you are able to appreciate a language for what it is: not a high, rigid, and insurmountable wall, but a soft, pliable tool at your own disposal.

Why don't you give it a try, Kyaw? Look at the tree crowns and liberate yourself. Express what comes into your mind, free from the norm. I'm looking forward to it.

Claudia

"Looking For The Summer"

Look deep into the April face
A change has clearly taken place
Looking for the summer

The eyes take on a certain gaze
And leave behind the springtime days
Go looking for the summer

This ain't no game of kiss and tell
The implications how you know so well
Go looking for the summer

The time has come and they must go
To play the passion out that haunts you so
Looking for the summer

Remember love how it was the same
We scratched and hurt each others growing pains
We were looking for the summer

And still I stand this very day
With a burning wish to fly away
I'm still looking
Looking for the summer >>> ( Chris Rea )

>>>If you feel so cold now.
kind regards.

Hi Kyaw! Good idea! I'm going to use that lyric to sing Karaoke, together with YouTube, as I usually do when I do like a song.

My greetings:)) Alicja
