As per tradition at Sid's Stationery, we will be having a Christmas raffle. This year the grand prize is a 2-night stay for two at the Meridian Inn _______ Toronto Island.
1. Is the phrase As per tradition at Sid's Stationery correct? How should we explain it?
2. The word to fill in the blank is on, isn't it?[/i]

"per" basically means "is", "in accordance with", or "as is usual"

So its stating that the plan is to do what is normally done (tradition) at Sid's Stationary - which is to have a raffle. So they obviously do that every xmas.

In other words, - As is tradition.../As is usual at Sid's stationary..../ According to tradition...

Yes, I think it is "on" in the gap.
