2. You rent a house through an agency. The heating system has stopped working. You phoned the agency a week ago but it has still not been mended.
Dear Mr. Frank,
My name is Ben Dread. I am your regular customers and two months ago your employee helped me to rent a flat downtown in a high- rise block of flats.
Unfortunately, more than a week ago the heating system went out of order. According to the contract if any problem occurs I am to contact you. I called my agent who had handled my case he said that he were on holidays and gave me the number of his opposite number Lycia Brown. While talking to with her on the phone she promised me to deal with this problem upon finishing our conversation. Moreover, she promised to call me back the following day to inform me about the progress of putting the heating system in order.
Later, when I tried to reach Lycia on the phone I was told that she was on sick leave and I was to wait until she came back to work.
Due to bad weather and in default of heating I fell ill and spent some money on medication. I expect this expenditure to be reimbursed by you as I am firmly convinced it was caused by your failure to solve the problem in due time.
I would like the problem with the heating would be resolved quickly. If I do not hear from you by November,10 I will consider lodging a formal complaint with Consumer Protection agency.
