Absolutely right.
Sometimes food crisis lead the people forcing to eat Insects and Reptiles in some places, Sociologists predicted or assessed it,later that remains habit in some cultures.
Alternatively, plenty of money leads some society put in various research about food. That is why when America or other rich countries have 250 different types of break fast in the morning(I read it on Marketing research for my Master's in business in 1991),where poor countries have just few hand count mentioning items for break fast etc.
In conclusion, food habit ultimately depends on individual knowledge, where no food crisis arise, like when you live in the Middle East, but you often go to the bar and take several pegs wine, you will not be safe. Again, you are now living as a vegetarian in England--what will happen could you guess?
The father of nation in India, I mean Gandhi faced that! He was very much pious and loyal for his loving mother. (Please see at Britannica,a biography of Gandhi). Before coming to England, he promised with his mother not to eat meat or to have any drink. Soon, he fell in ill.
Doctors examined and suggested, he would be going to die very soon if he not take any meat and a little wine. With mother's permission, he broke the oath for saving his own life.
So, somebody likes to eat dog, crocodile, snake, pig, whale, and so on other numerous animals meat that is depending on his sheer knowledge!(a lot of researched have been done on pigs or pork or going on other nasty so called foods--what is the side effect of them? where no researches have yet to happen or I am confusing, I never dare to touch it!). Frankly, let them eat! Genetic research is going on how a small grape can be produced like a water lemon size, but to resulting or effect on human body has yet to questionable. Yes, when everybody is eating a full plate of burning snails with you in a restaurant, later day, every body is alive--this is not cogent logic-no harmful!
Because, you don't know how much biological and chemical effects have been affecting on individual to individual body! Later one year or soon, that might say the hospital authority! See at readers digest, so far I can remember, March or April edition in 1991. _________________ Quazi,(46) a writer, thinker & humanist

It might be 1990, instead of 1991, which I suggested to see the 'Readers digest' hard copy at my previous post.
Today's situation is so nice, one may see at the internet as well. _________________ Quazi,(46) a writer, thinker & humanist

Hello Minhajquazi,
Fact that foods might change the life!
It is true that food can change life. Our body requires vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Water is also essentials. So, getting a proper nutrient with exercise can prevent some diseases and prolong life. In order to get the required nutrient, we have to eat a variety of fruit, vegetables, fish, beans, meat, and so on. Alternatively, some other good source food can be used for vegan diet. Unfortunately, some parts of the world suffer from malnutrition. Malnutrition can lead to illness and death because of luck of nutrient. On the other hand, obesity is a major health problem in some countries. Obesity can cause type 2 diabetes, high blood presser, high cholesterol, heart disease, and many other illnesses in someone who is genetically predisposed. Indeed, food changes the life because it is the main source of fuel for our body.

Today, I got to know without taking any protein from animal, one can only avail it in vegetable sources, do you have more idea?
Without protein, human body will be inactive soon, but taking more animal fat, you will face a lot of imminent diseases! _________________ Quazi,(46) a writer, thinker & humanist

Just at this moment, my multimedia doesn't work! And I am not so interested to make it works!
Behind, I am a follower of CNN/BBC so that I am much faster in speaking whenever I talk with natives or else, never think, I am boast of rather it is fact.
I will be happy if you can write.
Thanks. My skypee is jquazi if anybody wishes he could, provided that multimedia works!
PS, If anybody wants to speak faster pace, he can follow the CNN/BBC listening as well as reading English more, that is my secret to speak fastest ways since 1992. _________________ Quazi,(46) a writer, thinker & humanist

Hello Minhajquazi, Nice to meet you, This is a good topic. I totally agree with you that foods might change our lives. I've experienced with myself about 2 years ago I had very high cholesterol and my doctor told me that I could have a stroke if didn't take medication. So I had to take medication which I hate, for one and a half years until my cholesterol dropped to normal level. I really don't like to put any chemical in my body. I read Readers Digest too, a doctor said that medication for reduced cholesterol can cause liver failure. I was so worried about the side effects of the medication. Finally I got some information from the internet about people who have high cholesterol should cut down red meat and eat more porridge. Since then I've changed my eating habits. Now I eat more tofu, many kinds of beans and mushrooms, because I believe that protein from plants have higher quality than protein from animals. I means it suits for old people age over 50. After I've changed my eating habits, I have not had high cholesterol again, but I still believe that young people age under 20 should eat protein from animals. We are what we eat, aren't we? Importantly, we all need to make sure that we get enough protein for our body, but vegan people can substitute protein from plants instead of protein from animals. Cheers, Unchan |

Doctors are sagacious for every disease, but you are the best doctor for your own!
Because, doctor can advice you but generally you can observe the effect of advice on your own body much faster than he can do! _________________ Quazi,(46) a writer, thinker & humanist

Being a citizen of the poorest country of the world, a Burmese, I have to bite anything in front of me.
Lamb chops to cockroaches.
