Let me start everything from the beginning,Today I studied about Lithosphere which means The solid part of the earth consisting of the crust and outer mantle. *Earth is the 5th biggest planet in solar system and it's uniqueness lies in its habitability. *An equinox occurs twice in a year, when the tilt of Earth's axis inclined neither away from nor towards the sun.i.e March 21st and September 23rd. *Equinox means equal nights, because on these 2 days all places on the earth have equal days and night. *After march equinox the sun appears to move northward and is vertically overhead at the tropic of cancer on June 21. Thus it is know as Summer solstice, where Northern hemisphere will have longest day and shortest night. *As the Earth orbits around the Sun, that tilt makes the North Pole face towards the sun in summer (keeping it in sunlight even as the Earth spins) and away from it in winter (keeping it dark). This means that the Pole gets continuous sunlight (yes, even at midnight) during the summer, but doesn't get any sunlight at all during the winter. Therefore polar regions are know as land of the midnight sunlight. *By the December 22nd, The sun Is overhead at the tropic of Capricorn, this is the Winter solstice when the southern hemisphere will have longest day and shortest night. *The northern and southern hemispheres experience opposite seasons as the Earth moves around the sun. While the North Pole is in constant darkness (winter), the South Pole is in constant sunlight (summer). For example, in the Northern Hemisphere, Christmas is in the winter - in the Southern Hemisphere (like Australia) Christmas is in the summer. _________________ I was criying for a pair of shouse untill I see a person who has no legs. |
