How much money is big money for you?

I'm just curious to know how much money is big money for most of the people. When they are rich or broke.

Just a materialistic thought.

I think it depends on where you're living, what the economy is like and many, many other factors. The worth of money even varies within one and the same country, for example, here in Franconia, you can get a Wiener Schnitzel for 8,90 €, while in Schleswig-Holstein, it costs 13,50 € on average. That is the same with income and the cost of living. The ratio of the two can also vary immensely, and therefore the way people look at money. To me, a million Euros are worth more than to someone who is living in a place where everything is expensive, but less than to someone who lives in a more affordable area. Money plays a lesser role to someone who gets a lot for free, like having friends and family who live by the motto: "one hand washes the other" (meaning if you do me a good deed, I'll do you a good deed).

I would like to have enough money to cover my expenses. Then I would be a very happy gal.

It depends on the lifestyle and the situation. For example, middle-class family may have limited spending. They may have a good job, but they live paycheck after paycheck. They suffer from luck of financial security. Therefore, they have to send their children in a public school, drive affordable vehicles, limited vacations and so on.
Upper-middle-class family will be financially stable. Being financially stable, give them freedom to have a better life for their family. They can send kids to a private school or a reputable collage, access to a very good health insurance, and good retirement plan. Above all, they are financially secure. They enjoy what they do for living, and also involve in politics.
I would say when the income grows, the lifestyle change and the security becomes stable.
