My manager has approved my visa processing verbally last year, when i inquired today he asked me to write an e-mail saying that he approved the visa processing some time last year and requesting to start the processing. Please review below add/modify as needed.

My current visa is expiring in the month of Sept 2012. As approved earlier, requesting you to kindly initiate my visa processing. My apologies I could not initiate the process the previous month as I was on vacation.
