Hi teachers,

1) My friend is poor. He has a mud house. Correct?

2) My friend is rich. He has a cemented house. Correct?

3) We'll play badminton when the wind stops. Correct?

4) Please buy two shuttlecocks/birdies. Shuttlecock or birdie, which is common?

5) He has stolen the poor's wealth. Please correct it?

Many thanks in advance.

1 and 3 are fine.

2) He has a cement house (a house made of cement) -- unless you mean the house is brick, held together by cement, in which case, he has a brick house, he has a stone house.

4) Shuttlecock is the common expression around here. A birdie is a golfing term.

5) sounds strange because you would not expect the poor to have wealth for anyone to steal.
He has stolen their wealth and they have become poor.
