Can any one of you clarify my doubt - 1)Nothing in the movies attracts me to them these days. 2)In our movies the good are very good to others. In the first sentence above, we used "the" before the movies. Where as in the second sentence we didn't use "the" before the movies. Can you explain.

Possessive determiners such as "our", "my", "your", etc. replace any article. Combinations like "the our movies" or "our the movies" are never used.
