Hi Tue Aug 29, 2006 11:17 am  Hi

Hi

In the past centuries, and before they married, most or some of women had dreamed or imagined themselves riding the white horses with their handsome equestrians , and I think it's a nice dream .and maybe they " I mean the women" wanted to see their heavily armed equestrians fought and won many battles and drew victories and they could beat all their enemies .

Nowadays, the women don't wait their heavily armed equestrians , and even the white horse is forgotten , but they wait " a fat man " with his large car " It might be Rolls-Royce or BMW or more luxury " which no garage can hold it .

So...

What is your opinion ?

and which choice do you prefer ?

The horse or The car !!!!

Herc

Wow, Herc! Are you doing some social surveys?
I think not all the women could be those mentioned in your post. And I noticed that you used a word __"wait", which sounds not nice, specially when it comes to a concept that some women rely on men for a better life. Why not earn it by yourself? So, if you are independent in economy you can have both of them! Laughing Laughing

Not all the women are involved in that situation Very Happy . Of course, the world has changed so much that we are usually surprised by the behavior people are making. But some women are very nice, for example, Fang, whose ideas are so great that they make me feel that there are many good girls in this world. Very Happy

Hi Herc!

Good to know you’re here.

Hmm... If you forgive me (for?) some philosophical deviation, I’d say that (generally) it’s not the best way - to ignore (own) 'past doing' and always try to start 'new life' from 'a blank page'. We are not schoolchildren any more, aren't we?
Even though sometimes (quite often) I do some strange and 'not right' things, I still try to admit all my previous doings… As it’s me... as well… and not always 'in white' and not always 'right' and 'good'…
Just as is Smile

…Herc, I’m really glad to see you!

But I'd actually prefer to see you here - not beng armed cap-a-pie...

Not only in the past, Herc!

Having always been a hopelessly romantic dreamer, one of my most recurrent fantasies as a little girl and teenager (and beyond!) was that of a man who would sweep me up on his horse, envelop me in his arms (that’s the important part) and away we’d gallop over plains and valleys.

I never gave the horse a second thought (except perhaps to reassure myself that it was strong enough to carry both of us). Just as I don’t really care about car makes – though with a 17 year old son, it’s difficult not to get interested!

Hi guys

I think most of you have known or have had an idea about Ramadan month , and that after many posts that were sent by Mba and me .
and Ramadan will be after two weeks nearly , so , many kinds of activities will be active , and in other side many kinds of activities will be weak .
The most important thing that is the charity doings that helping poor families and supporting them by meals or clothes or money .

you can see how my lovely city Damascus is so busy these days..

This is Al-Hamedia market and it is one of the oldest markets in the world .

Hi Herc!

I like very much the photograph.

Can you say, what time in the evening is that? (It's so dark, even though shops are still open.)
(And what time are they normally closed in these busy days?)
