Well ...

It's me again ...and this my result

My result is again 33/40 .
and the resultant is 84% .
 :(
Frankly , I am not so happy with this result , but the thing that made me feel happily that I got The first position at my class and I've beat all competitors there.

My prime competitor at my class has ran away and she has changed the class to battlefield .
My teacher tried hard to make a discussion with her , but he failed , she was shouting and complaining , and after that she said that she wouldn't repeat this course in this institute .

:D

Congratulations on your test results, Herc! :D

There's one thing I fail to grasp in your story, though -- it's probably got to do with personal perspectives on life. Why is it so important to you to be top of your class? I guess a bit of competitive spirit can do no harm, but still...

Excellent results. At least you have tried your very best during your exams.

Not getting 1st position in the class does not mean that she is hopeless. Why disgrace herself by shouting and complaining?

That's funny, but I also quite often has got that mysterious 33/40 - at Level 2 tests :)
I am taking it philosophically - kindly leaving 16% to my rivals :) (and reserving that for myself-'to be' :) )

How to define success? #207 (permalink) Tue Sep 26, 2006 15:28 pm   How to define success?

Hi, what do you think of competitiveness at school or university? What are the criteria that determine a student's success? I mean do you measure your success by the results you achieve in your exams or are there other factors too?

Hi Conchita :) :D

First of all , I adore the challenge and I think that is my physicality .

So, It's very important for me to be the first at my class , especially when your teacher wants or pushes you and all students to be that , and when you see fierce battle between most of students to prove themselves .

However , I think you've felt that feeling when your teacher recited your name and what your position was, and the close competitors have fallen like tree's leaves in autumn .

by the way , " I am not a haughty person "
