Hi, in the paragraph below both words -- clients list as well as client list are used. Is there any difference between them?

Our clients list is confidential. We've removed slander problems for people and companies you know, but our client list is secret.

Many thanks,
Torsten

The two mean the same, but "clients list" is inferior in my opinion.

Or double nouns structure Client List like shopping list, maling list, piano stool, book store, golf course etc..First noun Client works as an adjective of the main noun List.

kind regards.
