A suggestion for moderators

Hi, I was reading the essays of other people in this forum and I am also preparing for the toefl test so I have a suggestion for the moderators of this forum. Is there any way possible that there should be a time option on the right or left corner of the screen, so that when students start writing essay, their essays should be timed? This will help them to prepare for the actual toefl writing task, either independent or integrated task. I was just curious to know, would it be possible or not?

I might be wrong about this, but I suspect that most students type their essays before visiting the forum and then copy and paste them straight in to a message.

Yes, you are absolutely right. That's why I am saying that if there is a time allowed option while writing an essay, this will be far easier to write in time in real toefl test. Let's suppose, I have not written the essay before coming to the forum,however, when I log in and jot down the essay right way in the "new topic "option, and I hope that my essay is timed when I start writing, so is it possible? Is there any way that I use the forum's clock to write down my essay so that I make the habit of writing in thirty minutes?

I totally agree with you, Bev. Any forum user can time themselves with any device such as their cell phones.

It was just a suggestion. I know we can set the time on our cell phones or put a clock nearby before start writing the essay. I was just curious to know if it would be possible in this forum. But it is Ok.
