I completely agree that courses on driving will reduce the number of accidents on the road considerably. Unfortunately, a lot of drives who get driving licenses do not know essential rules which are vital to conduct while driving.
Every year accidents on the road result in a lot of casualties. One of the reason is that many drivers break safety rules. According to the statistics, many young people involve in these accidents. For example, for the last ten years in Russia about 60 per cent of accidents were because of uneducated drivers who were aged of 18-25. Three years ago a new campaign was launched in order to reduce fatal vehicle accidents. All drivers had to take a course online and after it they had to take an exam. It should be pointed out that not only young drivers were to do it but even experienced ones. Thanks to this campaign the number of accidents reduced tenfold among young drivers.
In many European countries many experts had been claiming authorities to treat seriously to safe driving courses. Nowadays all young people in Europe in order to have the right to drive must attend courses and to take exams after them.
I strongly believe that this courses, first of all, must be compulsory. All drivers regardless of age should be taught driving by professionals. Secondly, after completing this course all its students must to take an exam. Thirdly, only those who will manage to pass the exam successfully will have the right to get a driving license. Moreover, this exam must be retaken every year.
