My name is Valentina,I'va become a canadian permanent resident in 2005,coming from Romania.I enjoy living in a free country having a lot of opportunities for a better live.I graduated university, being specialized in English language and literature.I want to become an English teacher in Canada, for that I have to pass a language assesment test to prove my efficiency in English. As far as I studied,I consider TOEFL test a challenge, not an easy one but a possible method of becoming an English teacher.I live in Canada and I want to pass the TOEFL test no matter what.

Welcome aboard! #2 (permalink) Thu May 18, 2006 20:51 pm   Welcome aboard!

Hello Valentina,

I’d like to welcome you aboard and hope that you enjoy it here!

Living in Canada, it should be much easier for you to pass the TOEFL test, as you are immersed in the language (unless you live in Qu?bec, that is!). You seem determined enough to reach your goal, but I wish you good luck and success all the same!

We’ll be glad to hear from you!

Hi there! A Korean online school wants to hire native speakers of English as ESL tutors. It's a home-based job. ^^ The salary is attractive. I hope you reply to this message. Thanks! :)

hello Valentina! I come from Ukraine and I also want my future profession to be connected with foreign languages, English is one of them. at the moment I'm pursuing bachelor's degree. i"ve got a nice opportunity to visit Canada next year and I wonder if it really helps to improve English? immersing into the environment does help in terms of spoken English but what about the academic one?
