Drivers should pay a fee for driving in busy city streets when traffic is in a great amount.

The past decade has witnessed the remarkable changes in the increasing transportation, which is especially evident in big cities. It may be true that the heavy traffic has brought so much pressure to the development of cities where measures have been taken to limit the traffic. However, far too little attention has been paid to the living condition of those divers who are busying with their survival.

It’s conspicuous and ubiquitous that transportation is significant for highly developed cities. Many workers need to take public transportations like bus, subway or any other forms to reach their homes and work places. We can’t ignore that most of the citizens in a city are middle class or even immigrants so that they cannot by private cars for reducing the burdens of public tools. As we all know, Beijing, the capital of China has the biggest population in cities of the world, and the rush hours may be the unforgettable time in everyone’s life. I still remember that I waited for a subway train back to school and it took me more than half an hour for getting on a train because of so many people. It’s hard to imagine but I have no choice for I’m a student who is short of money. Divers are the workers who are in duty of taking the individuals to their destinations. They shouldn’t pay for a fee for just driving in rush hours.

At the same time, it's true to say that the traffic jams couldn’t be solved by judging drivers. We all know that the pressure of traffic comes from the growing amount of population. With more and more immigrants rushing into the cities, how could they pay for driving in heavy traffic affect for decreasing the expanding distinguish between cities and villages? Obviously, the drivers would love to take part in the traffic jams because of the large benefit when people are engaged going back home, sitting down in big couches, enjoying some snacks or dinners on the coffee tables or in the kitchens, turning on the TV and relaxing themselves. With big demand for individuals, will they still care about the little fee just for running cars in the nightmare?

Taking all these factors into account, we may safely draw a conclusion that the fee for driving in rush hours could not function well in changing the problem of traffic jams. Only in solving the problem of immigrants settling and improving the living condition of people could the government totally make the transportation problem disappeared.

Hi Alinna :D:D how are you? Hope everything is fine? Just to remind you, I'm not a native English speaker, so :):)

Quote:
Drivers should pay a fee for driving in busy city streets when traffic is in a great amount.

The past decade has witnessed the {a} remarkable changes in the increasing {increase in} transportation {means such as cars, buses, motorcycles and others.}, which is especially evident in big cities {Though, these vehicles are the main reason behind the serious problem of traffic jam especially encountered in big cities}. It may be true that the heavy traffic has brought so much pressure to the development of cities where measures have been taken to limit the traffic {didn't get what you're pointing at :( what do you mean by "pressure"?}. However, far too little attention has been paid to the living condition of those divers {drivers} who are busying with their survival {smart usage of transitions -that is "however"- to show that you disagree with the prompt :) but It would be better to state another reason, what do you think?}.

It’s conspicuous and ubiquitous that transportation is significant for highly developed cities. Many workers need to take public transportations like bus, subway or any other forms to reach their homes and work places. We can’t ignore that most of the citizens in a city are middle class or even immigrants so that they cannot by private cars for reducing the burdens of public tools. As we all know, Beijing, the capital of China has the biggest population in cities of the world, and the rush hours may be the unforgettable time in everyone’s life. I still remember that I waited for a subway train back to school and it took me more than half an hour for getting on a train because of so many people. It’s hard to imagine but I have no choice for I’m a student who is short of money. Divers are the workers who are in duty of taking the individuals to their destinations. They shouldn’t pay for a fee for just driving in rush hours. {I felt that this paragraph diverted away from the topic! Don't you think so? Your case and other cases of students who are short of money is interesting, but you didn't elaborate it well! You could have said for example: A great percentage of citizens don't have the adequate purchasing power to buy a car, so they depend on taxis and other private and public transportation means to move around the city and carry out their daily activities. As a result, this transportation sector is nowadays representing a significant portion of the vehicles, thus of any traffic jam. Hence, obliging taxi drivers -for example- to pay a fee will end up in an increase in the transportation fee paid by the passengers. Such increase has a negative consequences on a wide range of the society classes like daily workers, teachers, students... Consequently, hindering the life circulation in the city, and harming the economy as a whole.}

At the same time, it's true to say that the traffic jams couldn’t be solved by judging drivers. We all know that the pressure of traffic comes from the growing amount of population. With more and more immigrants rushing into the cities, how could they pay for driving in heavy traffic affect for decreasing the expanding distinguish between cities and villages? {didn't get you're point :(} Obviously, the drivers would love to take part in the traffic jams because of the large benefit when people are engaged going back home, sitting down in big couches, enjoying some snacks or dinners on the coffee tables or in the kitchens, turning on the TV and relaxing themselves {are all the car drivers in your country a taxi driver?}. With big demand for individuals, will they still care about the little fee just for running cars in the nightmare? {Isn't this a repetition to the previous paragraph?}

Taking all these factors into account, we may safely draw a conclusion that the fee for driving in rush hours could not function well in changing {is not the magical solution for} the problem of traffic jams. Only in solving the problem of immigrants settling and improving the living condition of people could the government totally make the transportation problem disappeared. {What is the percentage of immigrants in Beijing? And where do they come from? Just for general information :P}

Hi!We've just celebrate the Spring Festival several days ago!
I think I got you point!Maybe my opinion is too far away from the theme!
But it's true in China that the traffic problem is really catagraphic!You can't imagine that...T T Even though most of the drivers are not driving taxis, but they use their pirvate cars as taxis sharing with other known people and get some profit! You have no choice because it's sooo hard to get on a bus or even find a avaliable taxi!
By following your suggestion, I rewrote the essay from the opposite. Would you love to have a look at it?

The past decade has witnessed the remarkable changes in the increasing transportation, which is especially evident in big cities. It is true that the heavy traffic brings a large amount of problem to both the government and the citizens. Nonetheless, for me, nothing is more evident that the punishment should be taken to limit the drivers during the rush hours.

It’s conspicuous and ubiquitous that the private cars are the major which cause most of the traffic jams. The drivers of these private cars are usually white-collar workers who would not like to take bus or subway during workdays. What’s more, in China, it is common that they are more single than married which leads to the phenomenon that every single person drives one car and takes all the space of the roads. Therefore, I think it’s considerable for those drivers paying a fee for driving in traffic jams in order to let them participate in the individuals who are taking public transportation to decrease the big traffic pressure.

Not only on reducing the traffic pressure does the measure of paying a fee affect, but also functions in helping the governments of economic problems. The fine got from drivers can be regarded as a kind of revenue which could be used in fundamental constructions such as roads and subways. It goes without saying that with more infrastructures of transpiration in a city, the living condition and traffic will be increasingly changed. By improving the quality of public transportation and roads, more elites would no longer rely on their private cars but to take bus and subway.

Taking all these factors into account, we may safely draw a conclusion that the fee for driving in rush hours could function well in changing the problem of traffic jams. I believe it’s the best solution both for the governments and the citizens like a Chinese adage saying: Kill two birds with one stone.

That is illegal in my country, but, I can imagine the problem you encounter. My country's area is 10,452 Km which is almost equivalent to 2/3 of Beijing that is 16,801 Km!!! and don't talk about the population hahahaha we are almost 5 millions nothing in front of 19 million lloooll

Alinna, I was again inspired by your work :) so I wrote an essay on the same topic. May you please check it for me and tell me your opinion. Please be strict, take your revenge :D:D:D. And don't look at Luschen's correction. It's okay to miss some errors, we are not a native speakers in the end!
