Summarize the points made in a lecture you just heard, explaining how they cast doubts on the points made in the reading.

The reading passage and the lecture both discuss the relation between productivity and rewards. While the former states the advantages of giving reward to employees and its benefits for each company, the latter expresses the problems associated with it. As it is clearly evident, the lecture indisputably cast doubts on the ideas illustrated in the passage and refutes each of author’s reason by giving some explanations and examples.
First, according to the lecture, the professor makes the point that, people who experience the reward method dislike it and they want to be paid for their job instead of incentives. They also want to be respected for their extra work. This theory, by contrast, contradicts the one mentioned in the passage which rewards such as company products, money and specific privileges promote the rate of productivity.
Another point which is noted in the passage is that sophisticated consultants found out, increasing the motivations for employees have direct proportion to job performance. Handbooks and academic textbooks also approve it. The professor, however, disputes this assumption with telling that many studies and researches indicate that rewards make less productivity instead of developing it.
The professor finishes his statement by making an example from a critical situation. He tells that if employees get into trouble, they do not ask their supervisor for the solution because of concerning about their rewards. This would seem to cast doubt on the argument in the reading passage which explains that the productivity can be promoted and got surprising results if the system of rewarding is planned correctly.
