Topic: A number of different medical traditions are now widely known and used. Western medicine [using drugs and surgery], herbal medicine, acupuncture [using needles at certain points of the body], homeopathy[using minute doses of poisons], and so on.
How important is the patient’s mental attitude towards his/ her treatment in determining the effectiveness of the treatment?

In the era of inventions and development, people’s life quality has been improved much more than ever before. It is easy to realize that nowadays, scientists have introduced and combined a variety of medical methods such as western medicine, acupuncture or homeopathy. However, from my point of view, patients’ mental health and their belief in treatment plays an important part and is a deciding factor in the success of disease curing.
Firstly, it is necessary for the patient to be aware that with the advance in medicine, their health problems will soon be solved effectively. A prime example is that the average life expectancy has 15% been increased over the last century and fortunately, Russian scientists working in Ural University have announced that they found a cure for AIDS, which opens a promising future that any disease , even cancer can be eradicated. As a result, patients can totally put their trust on doctors and nurses and let them cure their diseases. There is an old saying that: “There’s a will, there’s a way”, which means that patients are supposed to believe any disease, regardless of how serious it is, will not become an obstacle in their life.
Secondly, patients’ positive attitude towards medical therapy will contribute greatly to the success of doctors. In their mind, diseases are never a hindrance and can’t prevent them from living and devoting to life. It is understandable that once patients are optimistic and enthusiastic to enjoy life, they will patiently follow doctors’ advice and conform strictly to the therapy. For instance, some diseases may require a plenty kinds of medicine which may imply side effects and a severe diet during a long period of time such as 5 years or even 10 years. If patients persist in the therapy and take it step by step, their health will undoubtedly be improved little by little. In contrast, pessimistic ones who have a negative outlook on life will refuse any therapy although it may not be difficult to follow. They have no trust in the miracles of medicine and give up hope of their diseases being cured and have surrendered to fate.
To conclude, beside the advance in healthcare services, the success of the therapy will depend considerably on patients’ positive attitude towards treating process. Once they still have belief, they will try any method and never stop hoping for a life opportunity. So, it is crucial that patients keep their mental health at strong level while following the physical curing/

Hi, This is an outstanding essay. Very well organized with good grammar and vocabulary. Very convincing too. Only a few minor changes I would recommend - see below.

How important is the patient’s mental attitude towards his/ her treatment in determining the effectiveness of the treatment?

In the["this" sounds better] era of inventions and development, people’s life quality {"quality of life" is the common term} has been improved much more than ever before. It is easy to realize that nowadays, scientists have introduced and combined a variety of medical methods such as western medicine, acupuncture or homeopathy. However, from my point of view, patients’ mental health and their belief in treatment plays an important part and is a deciding factor in the success of [curing] disease curing.
Firstly, it is necessary for the patient to be aware that with the advance in medicine, their health problems will soon be solved effectively. A prime example is that the average life expectancy has 15% been increased [15%] over the last century and fortunately, Russian scientists working in Ural University have announced that they found a cure for AIDS, which opens a promising future that[in which] any disease , even cancer[,] can be eradicated. As a result, patients can totally put their trust on[in] doctors and nurses and let them cure their diseases. There is an old saying that: “[Where] There’s a will, there’s a way”, which means that patients are supposed to believe any disease, regardless of how serious it is, will not become an obstacle in their life.
Secondly, patients’ positive attitude[s ] towards medical therapy will contribute greatly to the success of doctors. In their mind, diseases are never a hindrance and can’t prevent them from living and devoting to life.{it is unclear whether this sentence refers to the patients or to the doctors} It is understandable that once patients are optimistic and enthusiastic to enjoy life, they will patiently follow [their] doctors’ advice and conform strictly to the therapy. For instance, some diseases may require a plenty[many] kinds of medicine which may imply[induce] side effects and [require] a severe[strict] diet during a long period of time such as 5 years or even 10 years. If patients persist in the therapy and take it step by step, their health will undoubtedly be improved little by little. In contrast, pessimistic ones who have a negative outlook on life will refuse any therapy although it may[, even ones] not be difficult to follow. They have no trust in the miracles of medicine and give up hope of their diseases being cured and have surrendered to fate.
To conclude, beside the advance in healthcare services, the success of the therapy will depend considerably on patients’ positive attitude towards [the] treat[ment] process. Once they still have belief, {or "As long as they have belief,"} they will try any method and never stop hoping for a life opportunity. So, it is crucial that patients keep their mental health at [a] strong level while following the physical curing {"physical curing" sounds unnnatural - maybe "healing regimen"}/
